World Geography Country Report
Due: Wednesday, March 4, 2008
Weight: The report is worth a test grade.
Length: Standard Classes: 4 pages minimum
Honors Class: 5 pages minimum
Format: Times New Roman, font size 12, double spaced, one inch margins.
Bibliography: All reports must include a bibliography. A bibliography is a list of resources (books, encyclopedias, newspapers, websites) which you use to research your country to write your report. For this report you must use at least 5 sources, including at least one book.
Rubric
An A paper will have:
~Accuracy of Facts (Content) - All facts are reported accurately.
~Support for Topic (Content) – The report contains all of the required information and at least 3 optional topics.
~Sequencing (Organization) – Details are placed in a logical order and the way they are presented effectively keeps the interest of the reader.
~Transitions (Organization) – A variety of thoughtful transitions are used. They clearly show how ideas are connected. (Ex. Connections between natural resources and economic activities are shown.)
