Thursday + Friday Computer Lab Assignment

Find something unique and important to your culture fair country that you could (and want to) use for an art class project.

Topic Ideas:
-Traditional Artwork
-Famous Statue
-Famous/ Important Building
-An animal native to your culture fair country
-An insect native to your culture fair country
-A distinct, major physical feature

Step 1: Find an image of something you would like to use (see Topic Ideas for suggestions)

Step 2: Raise your hand and show me what you have selected.  Upon approval you may proceed to the next step.

Step 3: STOP. Have you already gotten your image approved by Mr. Procopio? If the answer is yes, then you may go on.=)

Step 4: Open up microsoft word, create a new document, and "save as" culture fair art picture.  Make sure you save this into your own account.

Step 5: Find the location of what you have chosen, both the city/ town as well as its absolute location (coordinates).  Write this information in your own words onto your Word document.

Step 6: Find the significance of what you found.  What is it and why is it important?  Write this information in your own words onto your Word document.

Step 7: Conduct some more research and find any kind of additional interesting facts about the thing you have selected. Try to find as much as you can.  Write this information in your own words onto your Word document.

Step 8: Run Spell Check.

Step 9: Run Grammar Check.

Step 10: Save your file.

Step 11: Raise your hand and show me what you have found out about your topic.
